Product description SDH01A-TM is an SDH based, STM-1 Fiber Terminal Multiplexer with a total bandwidth capacity of 155Mbps (63E1). The Terminal Fiber Multiplexer provides a full Cross-Connect platform for the 63 E1 channels and also special support for T1 for point-to-point applications only. A modular structure with 4 slots allows up to 32 E1 or T1 interfaces to be used in a single unit. Several data interfaces, like Ethernet and synchronous V.35 serial ports are also available to be mapped on the remaining available STM-1 channels. The SDH01A-TM (Terminal Multiplexer) has only one fiber link port. Important: The SDH01A Multiplexer is designed for Service Providers, CLECs or MSOs that intend to get advantage of fiber and provide SDH based services. It is also able to transport 32 T1s in special point to point application, offering double capacity compared to the current FMUX01A+ PDH fiber multiplexer that can offer only 16 T1 over same fiber.
