ULTra is a battery-driven, 100-mpg-equivalent, elevated personal rapid transit system with many four-person vehicles. First deployment is scheduled for London Heathrow Airport in Spring 2009, to serve Heathrow’s new Terminal 5. Working as circulator transit for office parks, airports, universities, and other major activity centers, ULTra is faster than a car. In these applications, ULTra makes carpooling and conventional transit more effective, by solving the “last mile problem.” http://www.atsltd.co.uk/

This is a speed run for Mission Impossible on the Nintendo 64. I did not do this speed run. I got it from www.speeddemosarchive.com. I got it for all those Mission Impossible fans out there, and non-fans alike. So please don’t accuse me of copyright infringement, or plagurism. Enjoy.

Total Time = 1:10:38. On Mission: Impossible difficulty (hard): By David Gibbons.

Author’s comments:

I made these segments for my friend Cyberwrath in the summer of 2004. Mostly, he just wanted to see how the game panned out (he had only played roughly 1/3 or 1/2 of it). I took it upon myself to have some fun and do the stages fairly quickly on mission impossible mode (read: hard). I never thought of sending these in to SDA because the game isn’t very popular (or, in many levels, good). Brad convinced me otherwise, as is evident by this page.

As for the run itself, it’s OK. It’s somewhat obvious it’s not a full fledged speed run because I make a point to not rush through the dialogue — I hang on to each text bubble for several moments, allowing the viewer (ahem) to read. Other than that glaring fact these runs are pretty optimized, for the most part.

There are some cool moments in the game…and some funny ones — funny because they shouldn’t be. Brad and I much enjoyed laughing at the inane things Ethan says to himself. He’ll be in a hallway, trying to be covert and distract a guard, and when he succeeds he’ll shout “WAY TO GO!” or “…piece OF CAKE!”

The game also suffers from terribly embarrassing hitbox and bullet detection problems. First off, guards in some circumstances take up to two seconds to react to bullets. Also, they tend to do a back flip upon their death, for no apparent reason. The peak of this form of hilarity manifests itself in the warehouse stage, where a guard rushes up to Ethan, staring at me without moving. I quickly shoot him in the head once, and then lower my crosshair. After an awkward passing of time with no apparent reaction the guard suddenly flips violently backwards. This game is golden.

There’s one more really funny part in the game — the train station. You’re supposed to cover Ethan from undercover bad guys. Good enough. But you also can’t shoot civilians. Sometimes someone in the crowd will run up to Ethan, reach in their pocket and with great ado pull out a…cell phone; or a glass of wine. Why they have a glass of wine in their jacket is never revealed — or why they like to jog before taking a sip in public.

Also, shooting one civilian means the mission is over. During a small chase, as I was shooting the bad guys and watching their stupid death animations, an innocent woman ran in front of my bullets and got nicked in the head, hitting the ground hard. I tensed up, realizing I failed…but the failure screen never came. I guess she wasn’t so innocent after all.

Vantagens:

Pode ser utilizado o auto-atendimento, um terminal eletrônico de vendas no qual o próprio consumidor realiza seu pedido usando um cartão pessoal;

Permite a otimização da venda balcão, através do microterminal, um pequeno e prático teclado que substitui a convencional caixa registradora;

Possibilita ao consumidor acessar o site www.snacktech.com e acompanhar as movimentações do cartão;

Disponibiliza relatórios para controle efetivo de estoque;

Emite relatórios gerenciais e estatísticos.
O SnackTech proporciona benefícios tanto para o consumidor que obtém um melhor e ágil atendimento, quanto para a lanchonete, pois a fila diminui e o faturamento cresce.

I am supposed to get this refund from a community college who is using Bank of America (I have Wells Fargo). I dropped a course over 2 weeks ago and called the refund office who put in an immediate request for the refund to be put back into my account. They say they processed it through their bank on the 25th. Called Bank of America who said I should see the refund in my account at midnight EST- NO REFUND WTF?!?! So annoyed…

Wait tell Tuesday. Credits can sometimes take up to 30 days to post. Most post within14 business days. After Tuesday (check your account first). Go to your bank and ask them you soon the can help get your money back.

So far we know that the circut breaker has not been tripped, the filter is brand new, the unit is turned on, along with the temp increased.

Our home is new this year. We have never tried to use the heater until now… and it does not work.

We believe that the system is electric, without a piot light. It runs water thru coils to heat the water, and then …. turn it in to warm air?? However, all it blows is cold air.

We are stumped! Please help!

Is this a heat pump or electric only heat? It could be a thermostat problem or it might be something else. Did you check the fuses or breaker in the disconnect that is right next to the unit? Just because the breaker in the main panel did not trip does not mean the breaker or fuse in the disconnect has tripped.

If the fan works then you know the unit is getting power. Also some units have circuit breakers for the heating elements inside the cabinet. First turn off the power to the unit then open the access cover and look for the breakers for the electric heat. Check to make sure they are not tripped.

Otherwise you should call the installer and have them take a look at it.
